How can I get Faralda to give me that quest?
1 of 7: Ask her if you may enter the college, then give her whatever reason for getting in that you want.
2 of 7: After that, try to persuade her to let you in without a test.
3 of 7: If you can't, say that you're Dragonborn if you've learned this fact on the main quests. She'll ask you to demonstrate a shout, so select one and shout it at her.
4 of 7: Your only other option is to agree to do her test. She'll say to cast a certain spell on the large carved seal that's on the ground next to her.
5 of 7: If you don't have the spell she chooses, you can tell her so, then hand over 30 gold to buy it from her.
6 of 7: Equip the spell in the Spells menu, then cast it at the seal.
7 of 7: Note that the spell she chooses may require more magicka to cast than you have. If so, come back later when you've practiced the related magic skill and/or leveled up and gotten more magicka points.
