What does the lever that's in one of the side rooms do?
1 of 3: It provides a way back in case you want to leave and sell off loot or whatever before continuing the quest.
2 of 3: Use the lever to get back to the Alftand Glacial Ruins area, then go straight forward from the lift to find a lever that opens some bars.
3 of 3: Past the bars is the large area where you started encountering dwarven spiders earlier. You can easily make your way to the exit, then go do whatever you want before coming back.
