The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints
What do you recommend for armor enchantments?
These recommendations assume you have the Extra Effect perk for the Enchanting skill, which allows you to put two effects on each item. For some of the items, I list two possibilities for one or both effects. Take whichever one you think will do you the most good.
Besides those five armor items, you can wear a ring and a necklace. Below are recommendations for what to put on those.
* Necklace: Fortify Heavy Armor, Fortify Healing Rate
* Ring: Fortify Heavy Armor, Fortify Healing Rate *or* Fortify Magicka Regen
You should also have certain utility items with you at all times so you can put them on whenever you need them. Below are recommendations for what I find the most frequently useful.
Note that one thing you can't make superior versions of even with maxed-out enchanting are the special spell-school robes. If you want to keep a robe with you that fortifies a certain magic skill and magicka regeneration, check the merchant inventories of the College of Winterhold mages until you find a Master-level robe for that skill, such as the Master Robes of Conjuration or the Master Robes of Destruction.
