The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints
Lead someone to become trapped by the shrine and slay them.
1 of 5: The only people you can lead to the shrine are followers, so check the Followers List to see who all is available.
2 of 5: You'll probably want to choose one of the wimpier followers who only require you to do some simple little miscellaneous quest before they'll follow you.
3 of 5: Once you've got a follower, return to the Sacellum of Boethiah and go up the stairs past the little combat arena to reach the Pillar of Sacrifice.
4 of 5: Talk to your follower and say you need him to do something, then aim at the pillar and activate it.
5 of 5: After your follower gets stuck to the pillar, get out the Blade of Sacrifice dagger (or any other weapon) and kill him with it to get the next objective. (Note that if you don't use the Blade of Sacrifice, you may get a bounty for murder.)
