The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints
Kill the great beast.
1 of 4: Exit the barracks building, then check the world map for a quest arrow a ways east of Falkreath.
2 of 4: Fast-travel as close to it as you can, then go the rest of the way on foot.
3 of 4: You'll probably prefer to use stealth and ranged attacks against the White Stag, since it'll run from you like any deer would. It doesn't have a lot of health, but it does have a very powerful health regeneration effect. (Note that using a paralysis poison on your first shot can help you kill it before it escapes.)
4 of 4: Once you bring it down, go over to it and talk to the deer-shaped aspect of Hircine to get the next objective.
