The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints
Protect Yamarz.
1 of 4: Follow Yamarz into the cave, then follow him along closely, avoiding all the giants you pass.
2 of 4: Help him kill a couple of large frostbite spiders (or cave bears, if you're high-level), then follow him outside and along a path.
3 of 4: When he stops and talks to you, you can agree to kill the giant for him in exchange for gold, or you can insist that he kill the giant himself.
4 of 4: Either way, you'll get the next objective. (Note that you'll have to wait for Yamarz to run off and get killed if you told him to go after the giant himself.)
