How can I lower the bridge?
1 of 9: Go up the log stairs to the upper floor, then look near the bridge to find a pedestal with a lever on it. But don't pull the lever yet -- it'll just activate a dart trap.
2 of 9: Looking around the chamber for interactive "puzzle lock" gimmicks, you'll find three of the familiar whale/falcon/snake pillars that you can turn.
3 of 9: One of them is on the ground floor, near the doorway you entered through. The other two are on the upper floor on either side of the pedestal with the lever.
4 of 9: You need to turn each pillar so that it matches a corresponding carved symbol. Start with the upper-floor ones, since they're a bit more obvious.
5 of 9: Right above the curvy bridge that leads to each upper-floor pillar is a large carving.
6 of 9: Try turning each upper-floor pillar to match the carving that's above its bridge.
7 of 9: After that's done, go back down to the lower floor and look for a symbol to match its pillar with.
8 of 9: On the opposite side of the room from the pillar is a carving of a snake.
9 of 9: Turn the lower-floor pillar to show a snake, then go back up the stairs and hit the lever.
