1 of 3: Look up at the balcony that's above the backyard and next to an upper-floor door.
2 of 3: There's a mechanism under the balcony that'll be marked with a quest arrow if this quest is active.
3 of 3: Shoot it with an arrow or a ranged spell (like Firebolt) to cause the balcony's ramp to lower.
