1 of 3: Exit the sanctuary and travel to Volunruud, which is a ways south and a bit west of Dawnstar. See the Whiterun section of the World Map Exploration Guide for more specific directions.
2 of 3: Go down the stairs to the large path split room, then take the SW passage and go through a wooden door to find Amaund Motierre.
3 of 3: Approach Motierre to get him to talk to you and give you the next objective.
