The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints

Help Illia reach the top of Darklight Tower.

  • 1 of 7: Follow Illia up the stairs and help her kill off a couple of vermin. (Note that you should stick close to Illia, and put off looking for loot for now.)
  • 2 of 7: Past a door, help her kill a witch, then follow her to a combat with a witch and a large frostbite spider.
  • 3 of 7: Follow her through a door and on to where she stops at a closed spear gate. The lever to open it is nearby, but you may want to wait to use it until you've looked around for loot.
  • 4 of 7: After pulling the lever, follow Ilia through the door to the hagraven's chamber, where you'll fight the hagraven and a frostbite spider. Kill the spider first, then help Illia against the hagraven. (Be sure not to accidentally hit Illia. If you do so when her health is low, you may kill her.)
  • 5 of 7: After that's over, follow Illia into the Darklight Chambers area and into a room with two witches. Finish them off, then follow Illia over to a locked door.
  • 6 of 7: After opening the locked door, follow Illia to a witch's room, then to an area with another witch and two spiders.
  • 7 of 7: Follow her up the stairs past that until she talks to you and gives you the next objective.
