How can I open up the stairwell?
1 of 8: Look around the chamber, both on its lower floor and its upper floor, for interactive gimmicks.
2 of 8: You'll find four pedestals with carved heads and levers on them. You apparently need to pull the levers in a certain order.
3 of 8: Notice that each pedestal's carved head has an animal carving in its mouth.
4 of 8: Look up near the top of the room for two sets of animal carving sequences.
5 of 8: The one on the north side of the room is missing a carving, so check the one on the south side.
6 of 8: It shows in left-to-right order a hawk, a whale, a fox, and a snake.
7 of 8: So pull the lever on the pedestal with the hawk carving first, then the one with the whale carving, then the one with the fox carving, and then the one with the snake carving. (Note that the first two pedestals are on the upper floor.)
8 of 8: After you pull all four levers in the proper sequence, the floor stairwell will be accessible.
