The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints
Burn three beehives.
1 of 4: Go along either the northern or southern shore of the lake until you're directly north or south of the leftmost quest arrow on the world map.
2 of 4: Swim over to the island with the beehives on it, then use the rocks on the west side of the island to jump up to the ground next to the fence.
3 of 4: Sneak around the fence to find the hives, then set three of them on fire with the Flames spell. This will draw the attention of the nearest mercenary guards, so you may have to fight or flee after burning the third hive.
4 of 4: TIP: Stay near one end of the fence and quickly flame the three nearest hives, then sneak back around the fence. If you're seen, sprint for the water and swim to shore.
