The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints
Poison the Nest.
1 of 7: Go through the side door, then look on the left for some stairs that lead down to the basement door.
2 of 7: In the basement, you'll find a couple of venomfang skeevers, which are much tougher than regular skeevers. Kill them, then find the narrow passage that starts near the back of the basement.
3 of 7: Go down the passage to find several more venomfang skeevers in a small cave room. Retreat back up the passage while fighting them to avoid getting surrounded.
4 of 7: Go down the next narrow passage to find a cave room with several frostbite spiders in it. Use the same retreat method with them that you used with the skeevers.
5 of 7: In the third cave room, move slowly while watching for two bear traps, then look for a swinging mace trap's tripwire at the start of the next passage.
6 of 7: The next cave has several skeevers in it and a crazy mage named Hamelyn. Try to lure all the skeevers to you without getting the mage's attention, then sneak-attack him and finish him off as quickly as you can.
7 of 7: Look to the right of the mage's alchemy lab for a Sneak skill book and the nest you're supposed to poison. Activate the nest to apply the poison.
