The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints
Retrieve the Dragonstone.
1 of 5: NOTE: This is where the main quests start getting harder and more combat-intensive, so low-level characters will probably want to go do some random exploring, skill practicing, optional quests, etc. Or go as far as you can on this quest, then go off and do other things for awhile.
2 of 5: Exit Dragonsreach and fast-travel back to Riverwood, then go cross the bridge NE of it again.
3 of 5: This time, go left instead of right, and start following the path up the mountain. You'll only encounter a wolf or two at first, but watch for several bandits when you get near an old watchtower.
4 of 5: Move down the path past the watchtower until you discover the Bleak Falls Barrow, then be ready to fight more bandits after you go up some steps.
5 of 5: Enter the Bleak Falls Temple area, then make your way through it and the sanctum area to find the Dragonstone.
