Kill one of the captives.
1 of 5: Before you do anything, note that you can ignore the captives and kill Astrid. That's very difficult to do, and you'll lose out on the rest of the main-line Dark Brotherhood quests, but you'll be able to loot her for some good stuff, and you'll get the "Destroy the Dark Brotherhood!" quest.
2 of 5: If you'd rather not go that route, you'll need to figure out which of the three captives to kill.
3 of 5: Talk to each of them and try to pass a persuade or intimidate option when it comes up.
4 of 5: Actually, it doesn't really matter which one you kill. You could even kill one at random without talking to any of them, though you'd be missing three opportunities to get Speech skill practice.
5 of 5: In any case, you'll get the next objective after killing one of the captives.
