Are there any containers in Whiterun that never respawn?
1 of 5: Yes, quite a few. It seems that whether or not a container respawns depends mainly on what type of container it is.
2 of 5: For instance, most barrels respawn, some sacks respawn, and very few if any cupboards and wardrobes respawn.
3 of 5: If you want a specific, convenient location with several never-respawning containers, use the large kitchen area in Dragonsreach.
4 of 5: It has three cupboards, two wardrobes, an end table, and a small sack that don't ever respawn. That should be plenty of storage space for you, even if you never intend to buy a house and move your stuff to its containers.
