The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints
Tolvald's Cave
1 of 7: Go to the back of the first cave room to find a passage on the left with an ice wraith and a bone chime alarm.
2 of 7: Hang back and kill the ice wraith, then use the rock on the right side of the alarm to get past it silently.
3 of 7: Watch out for a couple of sabre cats in small side areas as you move down the passage.
4 of 7: Past a door, turn left and look for a pull chain on the wall that you can use to open two side passages.
5 of 7: Sneak down either passage to reach a room with a couple of falmer in it.
6 of 7: Kill them, then move on to a large falmer dwelling area. There are several falmer in the first part of the area, plus several more and a frostbite spider in the second part.
7 of 7: Use the passage in the second part to enter Tolvald's Gap.
