Where You Hang Your Enemy's Head...
1 of 5: When you leave the sanctuary, you'll meet up with Cicero if you spared him earlier, and he'll become a follower.
2 of 5: Return to Riften's Ragged Flagon and talk to Delvin Mallory about repairing and refitting the Dawnstar Sanctuary.
3 of 5: He'll offer to sell you five different upgrades that cost a total of 19,000 gold. If you don't want to save more than 1000 of the gold that Motierre paid you, you'll be able to afford everything right away.
4 of 5: UPGRADE NOTES: The master bedroom upgrade gets you the unique Tumblerbane Gloves. The secret entrance upgrade puts a hidden entrance to the sanctuary behind some rocks a ways directly west of Dawnstar's inn. The torture chamber upgrade puts four prisoners in the torture room that you can talk to repeatedly in order to get miscellaneous objectives that'll lead you to treasure.
5 of 5: Also note that there'll be two Dark Brotherhood Initiates in the sanctuary from now on. You can talk to them and have them follow you around like regular followers (one at a time).
