The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints

Regain the Rift.

  • 1 of 5: Travel to the Rift Imperial Camp (see the Riften section of the World Map Exploration Guide) and talk to Legate Rikke in the command tent.
  • 2 of 5: Say you're reporting for duty to get the "Compelling Tribute" quest.
  • 3 of 5: After you finish it, optionally check the caravan wagon for a locked chest to loot, then return to the Rift Imperial Camp.
  • 4 of 5: Report to Legate Rikke to get the "The Battle for Fort Greenwall" quest next.
  • 5 of 5: When you finish that quest, you'll return to this quest's first objective.
