The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints

Force Ulfric Stormcloak to surrender.

  • 1 of 6: You can follow Rikke and Tullius around, offering them and their men combat support. However, it's a much better idea to lead the way, dodging enemy soldiers and bashing through wooden barricades as you come to them.
  • 2 of 6: TIP: The Flames spell is very effective against barricades, and usually takes less time to destroy them than melee weapons would.
  • 3 of 6: Your goal is to reach the Palace of the Kings.
  • 4 of 6: Inside the palace, follow Rikke and Tullius up to Ulfric's throne, then wait for Ulfric and Galmar Stone-Fist to attack.
  • 5 of 6: Help beat them into submission, after which Tullius will talk to you and ask if you want to kill Ulfric yourself.
  • 6 of 6: If you say you do, you'll get the "Execute Ulfric Stormcloak" objective. Otherwise, Tullius will do it. Either way, the quest will end.
