How can I get there from Solitude?
1 of 4: Leave Solitude and start down the paved path that leads west from it.
2 of 4: Skip two side paths and keep going until you reach a path intersection. You'll be able to see a village in the distance down the left branch, but don't go that way -- take the right branch instead.
3 of 4: Soon after the path gets snowy, you'll come to an intersection at a signpost. Go left and continue on until you reach another path intersection next to a pile of rocks.
4 of 4: Turn right there and move along the path until you reach the fort.
