The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints
Bring Hjalti's Sword to the Ghost of Old Hroldan.
1 of 7: Go to Old Hroldan and enter the inn, then talk to Eydis and pay to rent Tiber Septim's room.
2 of 7: Follow her to the room, then sleep an hour on the larger bed.
3 of 7: Look around the inn for a spectral figure called Ghost of Old Hroldan, then talk to it and agree to find Hjalti's sword.
4 of 7: Talk to Eydis and mention that the ghost is looking for its sword to get her to mark its location on the world map.
5 of 7: Make this objective active, then follow the quest arrow to the randomly chosen area where the sword was put.
6 of 7: Fight your way through the area until you find the chest with Hjalti's sword in it, then take it and return to Old Hroldan.
7 of 7: Talk to the ghost again to hand over the sword and get increases to your Block and One-Handed skills.
