Treasure Map IX

  • 1 of 7: This map is near the Abandoned Prison. See the Windhelm section of World Map Exploration Guide.
  • 2 of 7: Go west from the prison entrance until you can cross the water to reach a shack that a large tree has fallen onto.
  • 3 of 7: Get onto the ground on the NW side of the shack so you can get onto its broken-up boardwalk, then go around to where you can loot a dead guy named Lucky Lorenz to get the map.
  • 4 of 7: Read the map, which shows a bridge with a roadsign pointing to Riften, and a waterfall nearby.
  • 5 of 7: Look around in the area near Riften to see if you can find such a place.
  • 6 of 7: One exists near Broken Helm Hollow. See the exploration guide's Riften section.
  • 7 of 7: Get onto the rocks that are directly east of the door to Broken Helm Hollow, then drop down a short way and look to the left to see the treasure chest. It can be kind of tricky to jump over to it, so you may have to retry a few times.
