The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints
Fort Neugrad Treasure Map
1 of 10: This map is, as you would expect, at Fort Neugrad. See the Falkreath section of the World Map Exploration Guide.
2 of 10: Travel to the fort and kill off the outdoor bandits, then enter the main Fort Neugrad area (not the prison area).
3 of 10: Kill more bandits as you make your way to the circular room that's at the south end of the upper floor.
4 of 10: Climb the ladder in that room to get back outside, then look nearby for a locked treasure chest with the map in it.
5 of 10: Read the map, then look for the spot it marks near the fort.
6 of 10: First, find the large lake that the map shows.
7 of 10: It's east of the fort, which indicates that the top of the map is east, not north.
8 of 10: Enter the lake and dive down to find a sunken rowboat with a locked treasure chest hidden under it if you want to, though note that it's not the map's chest.
9 of 10: Swim over to the east shore and look for a narrow path. It starts directly east of the large fallen tree that's in the lake near the sunken rowboat.
10 of 10: Follow the path until it ends, then look behind some rocks for the map's chest.
