What if all I care about is making and improving Daedric equipment?

  • 1 of 2: Then you'd only need the Daedric Smithing perk, plus the other heavy armor perks that you have to take first in order to get it.
  • 2 of 2: Note that if you want to make yourself top-quality light armor as well as Daedric weapons, you should get all of the heavy armor perks up through Daedric Smithing, then get the Dragon Armor perk. There's no need to get any of the other light armor perks.
