How can I figure out the sequence without using the book?
1 of 7: Pick any pedestal and use its handle to see what happens.
2 of 7: If that's the first handle in the correct sequence, the small brazier that's on top of the nearest sarcophagus will light up.
3 of 7: If it's not the first handle in the correct sequence, one of the four sarcophagi in the center of the room will open up. (Note that three of them have draugr in them.)
4 of 7: You might want to use an incorrect handle four times to get all the sarco-opening and draugr-fighting out of the way, then use the braziers on top of the sarcos to help you figure out the sequence.
5 of 7: Experimentation will show that the handle on the pedestal next to the snake carving is the first one to use.
6 of 7: After you use it, pick another handle and use it. If it's not the second one in the correct sequence, the first brazier will go out. You'll then have to start the sequence over again, picking a different handle for the second one.
7 of 7: You'll eventually find that the sequence is: snake, bear, fox, wolf.
