1 of 8: Get the key from Madanach's body if you haven't already, then open the locked barred door that's nearby.
2 of 8: Go down the tunnel past it to find a large golden door that leads into the Markarth Ruins area.
3 of 8: Move through the ruins until you go up some stone steps, then look a short way past them for a dwarven-style chest. It may have some items in it that'll be useful in the upcoming combats.
4 of 8: When you start seeing spider webs, look for a couple of frostbite spiders to kill just ahead.
5 of 8: In the area past theirs, you'll encounter two dwarven spheres. They'll be difficult to take down unless you have some strong magic to use against them (and to protect yourself with).
6 of 8: Look on the lower floor of the spheres' area for some potions and a chest to loot, then move on to find the exit doors.
7 of 8: After you exit, Thonar Silver-Blood will talk to you. He'll give you the Silver-Blood Family Ring and all of your confiscated inventory items, after which the quest will end.
8 of 8: TIP: Return to the Shrine of Talos and loot Eltrys' body to find a good chunk of gold.
