The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints
Kill Kematu.
1 of 6: Kematu is hiding out in the Swindler's Den. See the Morthal section of the World Map Exploration Guide if you need help getting there.
2 of 6: Kill the bandit who's guarding the den's entrance, then go inside and fight the two bandits in the first cave room.
3 of 6: After you kill off the two bandits in the second cave room, approach the third cave room slowly and sneakily. There are three bandits in it, plus three more who'll run in and join the battle.
4 of 6: It's best to snipe at the three starting bandits from the passage that leads into their room, then retreat along the passage as you finish them off. That may allow you to sneak up on the other three bandits, or at least not have to fight them all at the same time.
5 of 6: Move on until you reach the upper floor of that room, then disarm the two bear traps that are near the entrance to another tunnel.
6 of 6: Go along the tunnel until you enter the room where Kematu and his Alik'r warriors are hanging out. At that point, you'll get the next objective.
