The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints
Lead Thorald to safety.
1 of 7: Wait for Thorald to free himself from his shackles and pick up a nearby weapon, then lead him out of the keep.
2 of 7: You could retrace your steps and leave the keep the same way you entered it, but there is a shortcut exit available if you don't mind fighting two more guards.
3 of 7: Leave the interrogator's room and go across to where there was a seated guard earlier.
4 of 7: Open the nearby door, then sneak-attack the two guards in the area beyond. (Or sneak up to where you can use the two levers on the left to release some prisoners as a distraction.)
5 of 7: After they're dead, go past them to find a locked door that leads outside.
6 of 7: If you can't pick the lock, go back and loot the interrogator's body to get the key.
7 of 7: You'll get the next objective when you exit the keep.
