The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints
Defeat Illia's mother at the top of Darklight Tower.
1 of 6: Follow Illia outside, then wait until Silvia says to take a seat on the chair behind her.
2 of 6: Find the chair that's between two wooden posts, then sit on it and wait until Illia attacks Silvia.
3 of 6: Get off of the chair and help take Silvia down, after which this quest will be over. However, there's a bit more to be done.
4 of 6: After Illia talks to you, talk to her again about coming with you to make her a follower.
5 of 6: Loot Silvia to get her unique Staff of Hag's Wrath, then trade items with Illia so you can get her Darklight Tower closet key.
6 of 6: Reenter the Darklight Chambers area and check for any loot you missed before, then return to the Darklight Tower area and do the same. The key you got from Illia will open a key-required door that has some potions past it.
