The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints
Help Selveni Nethri escape the cave.
1 of 8: Kill the spellsword who's near the entrance to Southfringe Sanctum, then go inside and move down to where another spellsword is guarding a gate.
2 of 8: Use the Flames spell to harmlessly detonate the rune trap that's on the gate, then open it and go through the plants on the left to find the start of a narrow tunnel.
3 of 8: Go down the tunnel until you come to a cave room with several frostbite spiders in it, including a large white one.
4 of 8: After you kill them off, go through the cave's other exit to reach a path split, then kill the spider that's down the left branch before going down the right branch to find Selveni Nethri.
5 of 8: Talk to her, then take a couple of swipes at her with your weapon to cut through the web that's holding her in place. After she's freed, she'll talk to you and give you this objective.
6 of 8: You can then talk to her and tell her it's safe to make a run for the exit. Even though you haven't killed off all the spellswords or their leader Bashnag, the way back to the exit is clear of hostiles.
7 of 8: Talk to Nethri again if necessary to get her going, then follow her all the way to the cave exit. If she gets stuck there instead of exiting, try talking to her again.
8 of 8: After she leaves the cave, the quest will be over, and you can go back and fight the rest of the spellswords if you want.
