The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints
Use the lever to open the gate to Treva's Watch.
1 of 10: Instead of proceeding through the fort's interior, you could go right back outside and use a shortcut. Skip to the next hint if you don't want to do that.
2 of 10: Crouch down and sneak forward to where the passage turns left, then sneak-attack one of the bandits you can see on or near the stairs.
3 of 10: Move back to a spot near the exit to keep the two bandit archers from shooting you while you take down the other two bandits.
4 of 10: Charge the archers and use the Flames spell to ignite the oil on their floor, then finish them off if necessary.
5 of 10: Watch for a bear trap as you move on past the bandits' room, then go up some stairs and straight forward to find another bandit banging away on a workbench.
6 of 10: Just south of his room is a door leading to the Treva's Watch area. Sneak along its starting passage, watching for two bear traps and a bandit that you can sneak-shoot.
7 of 10: Go up the stairs and kill another bandit, then quicksave. There are a bunch of bandits ahead, including the bandit chief, and you won't want to fight them all at once. Be careful to sneak around and take them on only one or two at a time whenever possible.
8 of 10: After you clear out the large banquet hall area, go through the galley area and watch for a swinging gate trap just past it. Move on until you come to the base of a large curving staircase, then go up it if you want some optional combat and loot.
9 of 10: Kill or sneak past the three bandits in the prison cell area, then watch for a dart trap's pressure plate on the way to the small side room with a door leading outside.
10 of 10: Crouch down and go through the door, then quickly use the nearby lever to get the next objective.
