The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints
Explore [random dungeon] and recover the [random item].
1 of 3: Go around and visit world map random encounter spots (see the "World Encounters" section of the World Map Exploration Guide) until you find a dead treasure hunter. Take his note and read it to get this objective.
2 of 3: Go to the randomly chosen dungeon and fight your way through it until you find the container with the item you're after in it. Make this objective active if you want to be able to use the quest arrow to help you locate the container.
3 of 3: The quest will be over when you take the item. It and whatever else you've gotten from the area are your reward.
