Deliver Adonato's Book to Giraud.
1 of 3: Talk to Adonato Leotelli in Windhelm's Candlehearth Hall about his writing, then agree to deliver the book for him.
2 of 3: Go to Solitude and follow the quest arrow to Giraud Gemane, who's probably inside the Bards College building.
3 of 3: Tell Gemane that you have a delivery from Adonato, and he'll give you a leveled amount of gold.
