The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints
Talk to Mikael about Carlotta.
1 of 4: Go to Whiterun and find Carlotta Valentia, who runs a stall in the open-air market during the day. Ask her if someone is giving her trouble, then offer to talk to Mikael.
2 of 4: Enter the nearby inn and find Mikael in the main room.
3 of 4: Tell him that he needs to leave Carlotta alone, then try the persuade option. If it fails, either bribe him or beat him in a brawl. (Note that you may have an intimidate option instead of a brawl option.)
4 of 4: Return to Carlotta and tell her that Mikael won't be bothering her anymore. She'll give you a leveled amount of gold as a reward.
