The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints
Bring one The Mirror to Aldis.
1 of 6: Go to Solitude and find Captain Aldis, who's usually standing around in Castle Dour's courtyard during the day.
2 of 6: Ask him if he's with the Legion, then say that you'll bring him a copy of the book "The Mirror" if you find one.
3 of 6: If you make this quest active, the quest arrow will point you to the Palace of the Kings in Windhelm.
4 of 6: Enter the palace and find the war room to the left of the Jarl's throne, then go through the door that leads to an upstairs area.
5 of 6: Go to the big bedroom at the north end of the area, then look on the end table to the right of the bed for the book you're after.
6 of 6: Take it, then return to Captain Aldis and tell him you found the book he wanted. He'll give you a leveled amount of gold as a reward.
