The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints
Escape the Thalmor Embassy.
1 of 5: Soon after you get this objective, two Thalmor soldiers will enter the area with Malborn, having discovered that he was working with you.
2 of 5: You're going to have to kill them, so it's best to weaken at least one of them with sneak attacks first. Also, try to keep Malborn alive, though doing so isn't essential.
3 of 5: After they're down, search them to find a trap door key. Talk to Etienne Rarnis in the prison cell and free him, then follow him over to the trap door. (If your distraction at the party earlier involved Brelas, you can find her in another cell and free her, too.)
4 of 5: Use the trap door to enter a cave, then go down the narrow passage to reach a drop-off that leads to a frost troll's lair. You could stay up on your ledge and shoot arrows or spells down at it, but your dumb companions will probably drop down there and get themselves killed.
5 of 5: In any case, kill the troll and drop down (in either order), then find the passage on the other side of the cave that leads to an exit. (Note that there's a special gem near the drop-down point that you might want to take before you go.)
