Find Roggi's Ancestral Shield inside [random location].

  • 1 of 3: Talk to Roggi Knot-Beard in Kynesgrove to get this quest.
  • 2 of 3: Go to the random location where his shield is and fight your way to it.
  • 3 of 3: After getting it, return to Kynesgrove and talk to Roggi to hand it over. He'll increase your Block skill and become a follower.
