The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints
Speak to Maramal about arranging your wedding.
1 of 6: Find Maramal in Riften's inn or Temple of Mara and talk to him to learn how the engagement process works.
2 of 6: Buy an Amulet of Mara from him if you need one, then put it on.
3 of 6: Go talk to any marriage prospect to get this objective, then talk to Maramal again to arrange the wedding.
4 of 6: Enter Riften's Temple of Mara the next day between 5 am and 7 pm to start the ceremony, then either confirm the marriage or chicken out. If you go through with it, you'll get a magic ring called the Bonds of Matrimony.
5 of 6: Quickly talk to your new spouse before she leaves so you can arrange where to live. It'll be at her place if you don't own a home yet, and you'll get an objective for visiting her house.
6 of 6: From then on, you'll be able to ask her for a homecooked meal (a food item) every 24 hours, and get a temporary 15% skill practice bonus every time you sleep in the same bed with her. If you buy a house later on, you can talk to her about moving there.
