The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints
Find the Forgemaster's Fingers.
1 of 4: When you approach any orc stronghold (except Largashbur) for the first time, the gate guard will challenge you if you're not an orc, you haven't already done this quest for another stronghold, and you haven't done the "The Cursed Tribe" Daedric quest.
2 of 4: Agree to get the Forgemaster's Fingers, then make this objective active so you can follow the quest arrow to the random location the Fingers were placed at.
3 of 4: Fight your way to the chest with the Fingers in it, then take them and return to the stronghold you got the quest from.
4 of 4: Talk to the stronghold's chief to turn them over, then optionally pickpocket them back from whichever orc they were given to.
