Shadow of the Colossus Hints

How do I damage its armor?

  • 1 of 7: Try retreating into the trenches and exploring.  Look for something you can use to fight it.
  • 2 of 7: If you wait long enough, Dormin will give you a clue: climb up on a tower and allow the colossus to attack the tower.

    Can you see what to do when you get to the top?
  • 3 of 7: The colossus topples the tower once you've climbed it.  Can you see where to go next?
  • 4 of 7: Climb up the next tower, which is in the direction that the previous tower fell.
  • 5 of 7: Climb from tower to tower; the colossus will topple each one until no more towers remain and a wall breaks.
  • 6 of 7: Now you're back where you started; this is where you will finally break the colossus's armor.  Can you see how?
  • 7 of 7: Climb back up to the platform from which you entered this area.  The colossus will attack the support pillar, collapsing the platform and breaking its own armor.
