System Shock 2 Hints
Crystal Shard
This is the strongest of the melee weapons, if you're willing to invest a few points in Research and Exotic Weapons skills. Remember that weapons do more damage as you increase the appropriate weapons skill. Even though you only *need* Exotic Weapons 1, adding a few additional points to your Exotic Weapons skill will make this a more effective weapon. Otherwise, a laser rapier at a higher Energy Weapons skill may do more damage.
