System Shock 2 Hints
Which skills and weapons should I choose?
1 of 4: There's no one right way to play through the game. There are, however, some ways that are better than others.
For one, you will need to concentrate your modules in specific areas. The top weapon in each class requires a skill of 6 -- so spend your points accordingly.
2 of 4: On the other hand, adding one or two points to all of your primary statistics isn't all that expensive, and the extra hit points, psi points, or speed can come in handy to all players. I wouldn't recommend spending all of your initial modules on primary statistics, but as you start to get more modules, consider spending a few of these to make general upgrades to your character.
3 of 4: Also, note the relationships between various skills, particularly as they relate to the weapons you plan on using.
4 of 4: You may want to keep modules in reserve, rather than spend every last one. You might find that you'll need an upgrade you weren't expecting to need, and having some spare modules can help this. As you get further in the game, save more modules, since each successive upgrade costs more.
