My weapons break too frequently!
1 of 4: You may want to consider the psi power of Anti-Entropic Field (tier 2). While it's active, your weapons will not weaken or break.
2 of 4: You should also consider buying some more maintenance tools and increasing your maintenance skill. It's better that you keep weapons in good shape, rather than have them break when you need them.
3 of 4: If you're still having trouble, there's always the option of cheating. You can summon maintenance tools or auto-repair units as needed.
4 of 4: Finally, the multi-player patch available from Looking Glass at http://www.lglass.com/ allows you to set the rate at which your weapons degrade -- even giving you the option to keep weapons from breaking at all. Instructions are posted at that site.
