System Shock 2 Hints
How can I purge the radiation from the Fluidic Tunnels?
of 10: Dr. Polito tells you that you will need to go to the fluidics computer and override it.
of 10: You can find the fluidics computer in the upper level of Engineering Control. Head to the west of the fluidics tunnels, and keep going west until you find a pair of grav shafts.
of 10: The grav shaft up will take you to Engineering Control.
of 10: Unfortunately, the door to the fluidics computer is locked.
of 10: Once you get into Engineering Control, you will discover that Xerxes has disabled the computer. But there is a way to get past Xerxes.
of 10: A log in Engineering Control tells you that you need to use part 45m/dEX from auxiliary storage 5 in Command Control to get past Xerxes' override.
of 10: Look on the shelves of auxiliary storage 5 for the 45m/dEX part. When you first head into the room, you will probably just see chemicals. Walk around the shelves, and you can find the part you need on the far east of the shelves.
of 10: Command Control is to the west of Engineering B (the half of the level with the cargo bays).
of 10: Head to the top of Command Control and use the part on a computer in the middle of the room.
of 10: You can then go back to Engineering Control to turn off the radiation.
