How can I fix the transporter?
1 of 9: Take care of the injured crewman in the transporter room first.
2 of 9: When you healed him, he should have pointed out a panel for you. There's a device in there (the "transmogrifier") that should be able to fix the transporter.
3 of 9: Have Spock try to do the repairs.
4 of 9: First use Spock on the console and then use the transmogrifier on it.
5 of 9: You'll learn that you need a comb bit to use the transmogrifier.
6 of 9: Now use the comb bit on the transmogrifier. See another question if you don't know where to find a comb bit.
7 of 9: Try using the combined bit and transmogrifier on the transporter console.
8 of 9: You'll find the long wire you need inside the brig. It's just underneath the switch to the door.
9 of 9: Now just use the wire on the console, and you have a transporter ready to take you on to the bridge.
