Star Trek: 25th Anniversary Hints
How can I stop the missles from firing?
of 9: You'll need to get past the third locked door (the one with the card slot) first. See other questions in this section if you haven't figured out how to open it yet.
of 9: When you get into this room, explore as many things as you can. You'll get a few very obvious hints when you do this.
of 9: In particular, have Spock use the two computers in the foreground and then use the science tricorder on both of them.
of 9: There's a virus in one of the computers. After what happened on the Enterprise, I'm sure you're aware of how viruses can spread.
of 9: Since the two computers (alpha and omega) are isolated, you're going to have to find a way to connect them.
of 9: It's going to take a physical connection.
of 9: Why not use the wires from the box in the laser drill room?
of 9: Just use wires on the computers, and you'll be ready to transmit the virus.
of 9: For some reason, you need to have Spock use the right computer first for a full score, and then use the left computer. You'll lose 4% off your rating if you just use the left computer, even though I couldn't detect any difference in the outcome of this episode either way.
