Star Trek: A Final Unity Hints
How do I operate the transporter?
1 of 7: Whatever you do, I'd recommend not using the timer (the gauge on the right) until you know what you're doing, or else you may very well end up losing yourself in the transporter system.
2 of 7: The two sets of three buttons (one vertical and one horizontal) control your destination in the transporter.
3 of 7: Use the big button to energize everyone but yourself, and use the gauge to give yourself time to walk to the transport area.
4 of 7: Trial and error is really the only good way to do this. But as long as you leave one person behind to operate the console, you can always keep trying to energize if people are stuck in the system. Once you have a valid destination, the people who are stuck in transport will be freed somewhere.
5 of 7: The valid (safe) destinations follow.
6 of 7: 1) Select the right button of the ones in the horizontal line and the middle button out of the vertical line. This takes you to the first transporter pad you encountered. 2) Select the left button out of the row of three and the bottom button out of the column. This will take you to the pad near the Hall of Records.
7 of 7: Once you know what the safe destinations are, you can use the self-timer (see above) to bring the last member of the away team to the new destination.
