Star Trek: A Final Unity Hints
I'm trying to get in.
of 9: Scan the lights with your tricorder.
of 9: The little lights are sensors.
of 9: Wait for a while, and one of the members of the away team will tune the phasers so you can disable the lights.
of 9: Fire at the lights, and the sensors will go off temporarily. But you can only keep one sensor off at a time.
of 9: Trial and error will tell you the correct path through this area. Read on if you want an answer.
of 9: Start by firing at the rightmost of the three lights. It should be safe to walk to a point just underneath the middle of the lights, but you might need to fire at the light a second time in case it starts to come on again.
of 9: Actually, you may want to keep walking until you are shot while the right light is still off. This will tell you where the boundary between sensor regions is, and you can always use the med kit to bring someone back to consciousness.
of 9: Then, fire at the middle light, and you should be able to walk all the way to the door. You may need to shoot at that light a second time, since you'll be shot if it comes back on. I also found it easier to walk in two steps at right angles to each other -- start by going parallel to the door until you're in front of it, and then walk through it. I suspect that you may walk into the view of another sensor if you take a direct path.
of 9: To go the other direction, just reverse the process.
