Sanitarium Hints
How do I win this game?
1 of 12: Move around and try not to step in the black goop.
2 of 12: Your black twin mirrors your every move.
3 of 12: Concentrate exclusively on moving Max. Your twin will follow suit. (Max's dark twin seems to play no real part in the proceedings and can be ignored. Apparently he only gets in the way and complicates matters!)
4 of 12: There are two of you as well as two orbs glowing on the left edge.
5 of 12: Your objective is to get Max to the block in front of the glowing orb near his half of the board.
6 of 12: There is probably more than one way to move Max to the desired destinations.
7 of 12: Once you have taken the first orb, another will begin glowing. Grab the second. When you have gotten the third orb, you have won.
8 of 12: This is a bit tricky, since the movement arrow seems to jump and not always point in the direction you want it to.
9 of 12: Generally it seems best to keep your finger pressed down on the right mouse button almost all the time, and just move the mouse to guide Max in the direction you would like him to go.
10 of 12: When Max gets to a black oil patch, he will either just stand there or mark time on the spot, but he won't get killed. However, don't panic if he does!
11 of 12: Timing appears to be the main obstacle. If possible, it is best to wait until the black goop has disappeared from the squares you wish to move over.
12 of 12: The following method should fairly easily allow you to get all three orbs before even half of your essential green life fluid had drained down from the transparent tube. Included below are hints in text form as well as graphic form. Remember to keep your right mouse button pressed down and point Max in the basic direction of the block for his next move.
